This is the so called blues scale it starts with the minor third, then follows the fourth, the tritone the fifth and the minor seventh. It is good to use as an alternative when playing blues, you can however also use other scales when playing blues

The pentatone scale does not contain any semtones.
The pentatone scale are used by aboriginals.
Heltone skalaen
There are only two different whole tone scales. It has no semitones.
Dim-skalaen
The dim scale is generated by taking a dim chord and then add the dim chord a semtone above it. It is good to play over dim chords.
